DecorIn is an interior design app for iPhone, and it's made by one person.
Hi, I'm Sufya, an independent app developer from Bangalore, India. I design, build and support DecorIn on my own. There's no team or company behind it, just me.
When I moved into a new rented flat, the place was completely empty. I had a lot of ideas saved on Pinterest and Instagram, but none of those rooms looked like mine. My windows were in odd places, the balcony door was small and the floor tiles weren't going anywhere.
I ended up buying things that didn't fit the room. What I really wanted was to take a photo of my own room and see what it could look like before spending any money. I couldn't find an app that did this well, so I started building one.
You take a photo of your room and pick a style. There are 27 of them, from Japandi to Mid-Century to Coastal. DecorIn redesigns the room while keeping your walls, windows and doors where they are.
You can also change just one part of the room. Draw a box around the sofa, a corner or a wall, and only that area changes. You can swap out a single piece of furniture, try a new wall color or floor, clear out the clutter, or turn the room into a 3D floor plan.
Since it's only me, I keep things simple. Pricing is based on what each design actually costs to make. When you send me an email, I'm the one who reads it and replies. A lot of the features in the app came from people writing in.
If you find a bug, have an idea, or want to show me what you did with your room, email me at sufya@decorin.ai. I'd really like to hear from you.
Thanks for using something one person made.
