Overview
DecorIn ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using DecorIn you agree to these practices.
Information We Collect
Photos you upload for AI redesign, and the redesigns we generate from them — sent to our AI processing provider to produce your result, and saved to your account so your designs are available in My Designs across your devices. You can delete any design in the app, and deleting your account removes them all.
Account information — email address or Apple ID, collected when you sign up.
Purchase data — subscription status and transaction records. We never see your payment card details.
Text you type — the edit instructions you write in the app (for example "make the sofa darker"), kept so we can see which changes people ask for and improve the feature. Please don't include personal details in these instructions.
Usage analytics — session data such as screens visited and features used, to improve the app. While you are signed in this activity is linked to your account; before you sign in it is recorded against an anonymous device identifier.
Device information — iOS version, device model, and crash reports for debugging purposes only.
How We Use Your Data
To provide the AI room redesign service.
To manage your account and subscription.
To send important service announcements (you can opt out of marketing).
To debug crashes and improve app stability.
To process refund requests — we may share your purchase and usage information (such as how much of a purchase was used) with Apple to help Apple evaluate the request.
We never sell your data to third parties. Ever.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted service providers, and share data with them only as needed to operate the app. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. The categories are:
Authentication and account hosting — to create and secure your account.
Subscription and payment processing — to manage purchases and restore them across devices. We never see your payment card details.
AI image processing — to generate your redesigns. Photos are transmitted over an encrypted connection, used only to produce your result, and are not retained by the provider beyond processing. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
Analytics and crash reporting — to fix bugs and improve stability.
Data Retention
Your photos and redesigns are stored on your device and backed up to your account, so they stay in My Designs if you change or reinstall your device. They are kept until you delete them — delete a single design in My Designs, or delete your account to remove all of them.
When a design goes wrong — you tell us you didn't like it, immediately ask for another, or we can't process your photo — we keep a copy of that photo and result for 30 days so we can find and fix the problem. These copies are deleted automatically after 30 days and are never used to train AI models.
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.
We may retain anonymised analytics data for up to 24 months.
Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email us at sufyameher@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
DecorIn is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
